Roberta (Bertie) Engebretsen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roberta (Bertie) Engebretsen (Washington, North Carolina), born in Harrison, Nebraska, who passed away on September 2, 2022 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her husband Nelson Engebretsen; her sister Beverly Hizer Turner; and her parents, Jack Dunlap and LaVergna Dunlap. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Bland (Rick) of Brevard, NC, Steve Engebretsen (Teresa) of Durham, NC and David Engebretsen (Kimberly) of Greenville, NC.; her grandchildren, Aaron Bland (Katie), Jake Engebretsen, Grant Engebretsen (Hailey) and Makayla Smith; her great grandchildren, Lily, Townsend Bland and Kennedy Engebretsen; and her sister-in-law Barbara Hall. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
