He is survived by: his son Ben Schatz (Maria); his brother James "Jim" Schatz of Ocala, FL; his sister-in-law Barbara Schatz of Washington; his niece Erica Caracoglia (John) of Greenville; and his nephew Jonathan Schatz (Mary Jane) of Greenville.
