He was predeceased by: his parents, Avery Alfred Andrews, Sr. and Callie Andrews; his son Robert A. Andrews, Jr.; his grandson Greg Taylor, Jr.; his great grandchild Pailyn Setzer; and his siblings, J. A. Andrews, Carlene Andrews Martin and Jamie Andrews.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Woolard (Lee) of Washington, Tina Prestridge of Cedar Point and Trudy Gooding of Washington; his siblings, Edward Andrews (Retha) of Grimesland, Avery Andrews (Mary) of Washington, Terry Andrews (Terry) of Washington, Miriam Newman of Aurora and Pat Cutler (Leland) of Bath; and his grandchildren, Robyn Hales (Michael) of Greenville, Kristina Weeks (Tim) of Wake Forest, Briton Prestridge (Morgan) of Swansboro, Kelly Setzer (Jessica) of Snow Hill, Samuel Setzer (Anna) of Greenville and Cassandra Setzer of Williamston. He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
