It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Retha Gorham of Washington, North Carolina, born in Beaufort, North Carolina, who passed away on February 4, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Lewis and Ethelinda Clemons Clarke Lewis. She is survived by: her children, Elaine Laughinghouse Vicky Jones (Raymond), Cindy Adkins, Billy Jones (Jackie) and Tammy Kline; her pet Turbo; her sister Rose Lewis; and her niece Jane Edwards. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
