He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Schwartz and Viola Schwartz. He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his children, Dr. Bradley Schwartz (Amy) of Decorah, IA and Lori Cahoun (Dale) of Kinston, NC; his stepchildren, Col. Steven Boyd and Karen Harrell of Waxhaw, NC.; his siblings, Gerald Schwartz (Jane) of Greensboro, GA and Marlene Martin of Grain Valley, MO.; and also Paul Schwartz (Christel) of Brentwood, CA. He is also survived by six grandchildren, one great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
