She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Argo Lee and Annie Wallace Lee; her spouse Charlie Frank "C. F." Wallace, Jr.; her sisters, Doris Kortes and Ola "Sissy" Ricks; and her son-in-law Eddie Haywood, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Deborah W. Haywood of Mebane, Twilla W. Woolard (Michael) of Washington and Charlie Frank Wallace, III (Renee) of Washington; her grandchildren, Kerry Erdesky, Eddie "Bubba" Haywood, III, Blake Woolard, Kyle Woolard, Andrew Ballance and Ashley Winstead; her great grandchildren, Edie Grace Haywood, Zach Erdesky, Cole Erdesky, Noah Woolard, Camryn Woolard, Alyssa Winstead, Aubrey Winstead, McKinley Ballance, Madison Ballance, Daniel Nobles, Brendan Kinnion and Courtney Bennett; and her caregiver Kim Harvey.
