She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Vairance Parnell, Sr. and Onie Pennell Parnell; her husband Earl Eugene Deal; her daughters, Doris D. Snell and Velma Deal; her great grandchild William Russell Rasco; her siblings, Alvin B. Parnell, Jr., Bobby Parnell, Bernice Wainwright, Elsie Morton, Nancy Jones, Callie Beddard and Addie Roberson; and her children-in-law, Dennis Mills and Theresa Cavanaugh.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Deal Sandow (Sammy) of Washington and Earl Eugene Deal, Jr. of Arapahoe, N. C.; her grandchildren, DeDe Snell (Danny), Jennifer Snell, Michelle Coe (Bobby), Joseph Bonner (Jennifer) and Brandon Dowdy; her great grandchildren, Alyssa Hand (Quinn), Jessica DelaHoussaye (Codi), JT, Ren Theriot, Aaron Wiggs, Jason Cunningham and Christopher Bonner; her grandchildren, Chloe, Azariah, Oliver and Rubi Dowdy; her great great grandchildren, Grant, Shaemus and Emaline Hand; her great grandchildren, Cyruss, Rhett and Jax DelaHoussaye; her brother Sidney A. Parnell of Phoenix, AZ; her son-in-law William Snell of Picayune; and her sister-in-law Shirley Deal of Chocowinity.
