She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Morris and Celia Lesser; her sister Helen Frank; her daughter Phyllis Huggins; her granddaughter Elizabeth Colao; her children, Marian Smith, Rachel Tabak, Beverly Lefkowitz and Robert Tabak; her grandchildren, Janis Fried, Catherine Reynolds, Joann Liota, Anthony Colao and Joseph Tabak-Otero; and her great grandchildren, Lavender Reynolds and Juniper Colao.
She survived the Great Depression, Covid, two husbands: Joseph Tabak, and Howard Gancfried, and in the last leg of her life she battled Alzheimer's.
