She was predeceased by: her parents, Nonnie Smith and William Edward Smith; her husband Earl Mendel Hill; her siblings, Geneva Trueblood, Ruth Lee Winslow and Robert Smith; and her sons-in-law, William Mills and Jimmy Lee.
She is survived by: her children, Melinda Mills, Mike Hill (Brenda), Kay Lee and William Allen Hill (Glenda); and her grandchildren, Tammy Cutler (Kevin), Tony Mills (Jennifer), Wayne Mills (Kim), Kevin Hill (Sammi Jo), Dawn Ramirez (Mo), Courtney Hill, Caitlin Barrow (Josh), Melissa, Thomas Thurman and Kitty Hedgepeth (Eddie).
