She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Buckman Nichols (Bettye), Jim Buckman (Kaye) of Washington, NC and Bettye Buckman Nichols (Al) of Washington; her sister Cheryl Lynn Salter; her niece Catherine Lane Salter of New Bern; her grandchildren, Cameron Buckman Schmitz (Frank) of Savannah, GA, Sarah Katherine Oden (Stephen) of Bath, NC, Elizabeth Wright Nichols of Charlotte, NC, Mariah Buckman Nichols of Wilmington, NC and Sarah Franklin Nichols Bennert (Kevin); and her great grandchildren, Milly Schmitz, Robert Schmitz, Dawson Schmitz, Chandler Schmitz, Stephen Oden and Coleson Oden.
