It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael John Schatz (Washington, North Carolina), born in Concord, New Hampshire, who passed away on December 3, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frederick Harold Schatz and Nora Vanyo Schatz; his wife Barbara White; his children, Erica Schatz Caracoglia (John) of Greenville and Jonathan Thomas Schatz (Mary Jane) of Simpson; his grandchildren, Elijah Schatz, Ava Caracoglia, Dylan Caracoglia and Maddox Tucker; and his brothers, Robert Schatz of Washington and Jim Schatz of Ocala, FL.
