He was predeceased by: his father John Nathaniel Potter, Sr.; and his grandparents, Mack, Tinnie Potter, Wesley A. Kirk and Gladys Tate Kirk.
He is survived by: his mother Veda Kirk Potter; his wife Amy Credle Potter; his children, Emma Joyce Potter and Jacob Nathaniel Potter; and his siblings, John Potter, Jr. (Laura Lee), Michael Potter and Jeannie Potter Huber (Joe). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
