She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoyt E. Waters and Lela Boyd Waters; her husband Bennie F. Sullivan; her daughter Julie Sullivan; and her siblings, Ecker Waters, Jessie Waters, Herbert Waters, Henry Waters, Lela Riley and Isabelle Price.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Jane Jones (Ray) of Chocowinity and Sharon Elizabeth Wilson (William) of Washington; her grandchildren, Bennie Ray Jones (Bonnie), William Jones (Tracey) and Michael Spivey (Christie); her great grandchildren, James Jones (Emily), Arabella Spivey, Bethany Spivey, Darion Carlings and Ian Toler; and her great great grandchild Emma Squires.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Paul Funeral Home - Washington (900 John Small Ave, Washington, NC 27889). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oakdale Cemetery (180 E 15th St, Washington, NC 27889).
