She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Edward Sawyer and Gladys Carmen Richards Sawyer; her siblings, Ormand D. Sawyer, Floyd W. Sawyer, Reuben E. Sawyer Jr., William D. Sawyer, Ruth Sawyer Hopkins and Gloria Sawyer Fotusky; and her stepsiblings, Mary Lou R. Clausing and Johnnie P. "Jackie" Raburn.
She is survived by: her spouses, Dick Runyan and George L. Pedley; her stepsons, John E. Runyan of Delray Beach and Bruce Runyan of West End; her sisters, Zella Sawyer Stassfort of Loganville and Rachel Sawyer Lonberger of Woodstock; and her stepsiblings, James M. Raburn of St. George, Joseph W. "J. W." Raburn of Greenville, Harriet R. Pendleton of St. George, Lenora R. Bright, Doris R. Cahoon and Josephine R. Haywood of Portsmouth, VA. She is also survived by three step-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren.
