She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Clinton Chambers and Carrie M. Chambers; her grandchildren, Melvin Gibbs III, Rebekah Kenney and Shenandoah Kenney; and her sisters, Ann Morgan and Katie Sawyer.
She is survived by: her children, Mandy Swinson (Dean), Millie Gibbs Kenney (David Sr.), Melvin Gibbs Jr. and Mike "Squck" Gibbs (Susan Cox); and her sisters, Carolyn Sullivan, Marie Russ and Doris Wallace. She is also survived by grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
