She was predeceased by: her father Theodore Roosevelt "T. R."; her husband H. Milton Cox; and her siblings, James Brooks Dixon, Quinton Earl Dixon, Bobby Gene Dixon and Audrey Jeanette Dixon James.
She is survived by: her daughter Wendy Karen Cox of Washington; her granddaughter Blair Cox Hofmann (Joe) of Siler City, N. C.; her great grandchild Joseph Milton Hofmann of Siler City; and her sister Maxine Dixon Gladson of Greenville. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
