She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Benjamin Jackson and Lillian Winfield Jackson; her spouse Leslie Willis Cox; her siblings, Marky Jackson Boss and George Jackson; and her granddaughter Lillian Chason.
She is survived by: her children, Leslie "Skeet" W. Cox, Jr. (Libby) of Louisburg, NC and Cate "Cathy" Cox Chason (Eric) of Barrington, RI; her granddaughter Hannah Chason (Barret) of Pawtucket, RI; her brother Clarence B. "Bennie" Jackson (Joanna) of Hampstead; and her stepgrandchildren, Megan Lively (Vincent), Maria Allen (David) and Bradd Nichols (Candace). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church-Washington (307 E 3rd St, Washington, NC 27889). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
