She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Jennette and Respree Spencer; her daughter Grace Marie Waters; her sisters, Annie Spencer Credle and Leonie Mae Jones; her grandson Calvin Williams; her great grandchild Emery Williams; and her niece Annie Jean Cobb.
She is survived by: her children, Dianna Williams and Albert Lee Spencer of Salinas, CA; her grandchildren, Wendell (Zedra) of Edwards, NC, Nia Waters of Greenville, NC, Michael Waters (Maryann) of Portland, Lamont Wilson of Cumberland, MD, Damen Williams (Denise) of Grimesland, NC and Ellis Williams (Kadejah Hines) of Winterville, NC; her nieces and nephews, Bernice Thomas (Earl) of Washington, NC, Yvonne Acklin of Chocowinity, NC, Aldoph Credle (Rita) of Orlando, FL, Nathaniel Credle (Carolyn) of California and Thad Credle of Greenville, NC; her great-niece Jaquann "Boobie" Thomas; her godson Earl Hines of Washington, NC; and her friends, Odelia Hardy, Shirley Daniels, Delzora Albritton and Ida Boston. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
