He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jay McDonald Hodges, Jr. and Ruth Gay Hodges; his wife Linda "Lou" Berry Hodges of Washington; his daughters, Elizabeth Hodges Fickling (Wade Fickling) and Sara Hodges Bell (Tre Bell); his grandchildren, Gray, Thomas Fickling, Ruth and John Bell; and his siblings, Anne Hodges Morrisette (Clay) of Kitty Hawk, NC and Arch Hodges (Corinne) of Brunswick, MD..
