He is survived by: his former wife Margaret "Catherine" Brown Broome; his daughters, Karen Tetterton Jefferson (George) and Loretta Tetterton Johnson; his grandchildren, George Wayne Jefferson, Jr., Tonya Jefferson Alligood, Caitlyn Leigh Johnson, Sierra Marie Johnson and Madison Emily Johnson; and his sister Ann Elizabeth Tetterton Martin.
