She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine Clark and William Clark; her husband Jay Mack Gurganus Jr.; and her brother Marshall Clark. She is survived by: her children, Tracy Crawford (Tony), Jesse Buck Jr. and Jay "Boomer" Gurganus; her grandchildren, Ethan Crawford, Thomas Crawford, Jessica "Jessie" Crawford, Justin Gurganus and Morgan Gurganus; her brothers, Robert Clark and Raymond Clark (Sheila); and her pet Boo Boo Gurganus. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memories and Fellowship. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Joseph B. Paul Jr. Funeral Service (4500 US-264, Washington, NC 27889). A burial was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Oakdale Cemetery (180 E 15th St, Washington, NC 27889).
