It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lowell McKenzie (Washington, North Carolina), who passed away on August 24, 2017, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his spouse Delphine McKenzie; his children, J'Nai Shyvonne and Diondra Michelle; his grandchildren, Ryanna, Jimia, Jimmy, Nyla, Maya, Neelah and Makenzie; his siblings, Michelle Curtis (Henry) of Newark, N. J., Linda McKenzie of Washington, D. C. and Eward Pope of Fayetteville, N. C.; and also Joyce Pope (Paul) of Petersburg. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
