It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Philemon Edwards of Washington, North Carolina, who passed away on August 16, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Benjamin Edwards and Pauline Whichard Edwards; and his siblings, Paul Edwards, Renee Edwards and Patricia Edwards.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Edwards of Washington, NC; his children, Linda Michele Doiel (Michael) of Chocowinity, NC and Christopher Lloyd Edwards (Ashley) of Bath, NC; his siblings, Paula Jo Edwards of Mt. Olive, NC and Joseph Benjamin Edwards, Jr. (Iris) of Greenwood, SC; and his grandson Cameron Michael Doiel.
