She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Roland Stewart and Hattie Bell Stanley Stewart; her former husband A. C. Rowe; her siblings, Danny Roland Stewart and Wilma S. Barbour; and her nephews, Ray Hollowell and Matt Stewart.
She is survived by: her nephews, Forrest Stewart and Steven Stewart; her husband Emerson "Reid" Strader, Jr.; her daughter Stacey R. Lynch (Walker) of Washington; her grandchildren, Keais of Washington, Katherine of Washington and Sarah Lynch of Washington; her siblings, Jimmy Stewart of Johnston County and Bobbie Rowe of Weaverville; and her friend Pat Moore.
In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made to Marion L. Shepard Cancer Foundation, 1209 Brown Street, Washington, NC 27889.
