She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wilson Butler and Viola Register Butler Byrd; and her sister Bobbie Butler Strickland of Clayton. She is survived by: her significant other Kelly Don Fann; her daughters, Kellie Fann Williams (Landrum) of Greenville and Bridget Fann Bilbro (Michael) of Washington; her grandchildren, Holden Williams of San Diego, Elizabeth Williams of Raleigh, Mary Michael Bilbro of Greenville, Anna Claire Bilbro of Wilmington and Samuel Bilbro of Washington; her siblings, Charlie Butler (Margaret) of Broadway and Lois Butler Black of Bunnlevel; and her siblings-in-law, Don Strickland of Clayton, Larry Fann of Goldsboro and Sharon Fann of Woodstock, Georgia. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the First Baptist Church (113 N Harvey St, Washington, NC 27889). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
