He is survived by: his spouse Katherine Swanner Adams; his daughters, Rebecca Adams Buck of Raleigh and Ann Bryan Adams Womble (James) of Marietta, GA; his grandchild James Clifton Buck III; his wife Brook; his great grandchildren, Mohammed Bridge and James Clifton Buck IV; his son-in-law James David Duncan, Jr.; his sisters, Lela Harrington of Erwin, NC and Ruth Small of Mt; and also, Bryan Jackson Buck (Donna), Katherine Adams Bridge (Adam), Ashley Avard Womble and James David Duncan III.
