He is survived by: his son Scott Hardy (Allison) of Washington; his grandsons, Carter Jerome Hardy and Cash Williams Hardy; his mother Janet Carawan Williams of Chocowinity; and his sisters, Wanda Hardy Mayo (Kenneth) of Washington and Susan Hardy Cordon (Bob) of Bath. He is also survived by one niece and three nephews.
