It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leslie Velesco McCollum (Washington, North Carolina), who passed away on September 22, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence McCollum; and his son Leslie McCollum Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Almedia Whitehurst McCollum; his daughters, Karen Mccoy (Reuben) of Sicklerville, NJ and Carmeleta Tippins (Joel) of Georgia; and his grandson Lawrence McCollum (Tara) of Edgewood, MD. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
