He was predeceased by: his father James Ervin Hodges, Sr.; and his brother James "Jimmy" Hodges, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Courtney Hodges of Chocowinity and Danielle Hodges of Chocowinity; his grandchildren, Noah Hodges and Olivia Hodges; his mother Shelby Taylor Hodges; and his siblings, Marty Hodges (Sandy Godley), Gary Hodges (Sherry) of Wilson and Teresa Shamburger (John) of Washington.
