She was predeceased by: her parent Jean Wynn Cox. She is survived by: her parent Mayhew Paul Cox; her sister Katie Cox Gaylor (Jeff) of Greenville, N. C.; her aunt Sally Houston (Bartow); her uncles, Floyd Cox III (Mac), William Samuel Miles Cox, Jim Wynn (Carolyn) of Ocracoke, N. C., Jon Wynn of Snow Camp, N. C. and Paul Wynn (Joan) of Greenville, N. C.; and her pet Azeal (Azzy).
Before the pandemic Lanie enjoyed her job as a waitress at Shep's Grill.
