He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivey Albert Alligood and Dora Jefferson Alligood; and his wife Ethel "Tippie" Asby. He is survived by: his children, Sue Horton of Montevallo, AL and Paris Alligood (Linda) of Washington; his stepson Eric Hill (Linda) of Pamlico Beach; and his grandchildren, Jeff Roper, Stephen Horton, Jonathan Alligood, Rachel Herndon (David), D. J. Quidley, Amber Fillingame (Matt) and Gregory Hill. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
