Kerry David Cox Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kerry David Cox (Washington, North Carolina), who passed away on December 6, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brothers, William Steele Cox and Gene Halden Cox; his niece Leigh Cox Swain; and his brother-in-law Archie "Jay" Evans, Jr.. He is survived by: his siblings, James M. "Jim" Cox (Norma), Sheila Cox Jones (Larry) and Sandra "Sandi" Cox Evans; his nieces and nephews, Chenoa Evans Jones, Sharon Evans Lowen (Eddie), Crystal Jones Bell (Bill), Kendall Allison Cox, Amy Cox Alligood (Stephen), Kami Cox Newman (Kevin), Reagan Cox Askew, Larry Wayne Jones, Jr., David Jay Evans (Paige), William Brennan "Bill" Cox and Matthew Steele "Matt" Cox (Sarah); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Holden, Austin, Mason Newman, Logan Alligood, Benjamin Bell, Dawson Askew, Josh Evans, Cory, Cameron Jones, Hayden Cox, William, Greg Bell, Briana Swain, Kristina Lowen Meyer (Seth), Emma Evans, Lauren Alligood, Adeline Cox, Dorothy Jones Dixon (Austin), Katie Jones, Moriah Jones and Savannah Bell; and also, Chloe, Raelyn, Cora, Rue, Madison, Wren and Mason.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the NC Right to Life.
