He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Lee and Annie Turnage Smith; and his brother Bobby Wayne Smith. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Smith; his sons, Jason Smith of Greenville and Derek Smith (Chrissy) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Riley, Savannah and Colton Smith; his stepchildren, Chad Waters (Jennifer) of Washington and Courtney Smith (Shawn) of Washington; his stepgrandchildren, Brantley, Madison Barnes and Addison Harris; his siblings, Elizabeth Olin (Kris) and Danny Smith; and his niece Sarah Marie Pado (Drew).
