Joseph A. Ayers Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Prince Ayers and Lizzie Mae Ayers of Williamston, NC.; his wife Peggy Ann Jackson; his son Joseph A. "Al" Ayers Jr.; and his siblings, Joyce Bowen, Roger Ayers and Jimmy Ayers.
He is survived by: his son Steven Ayers (Jody) of Winterville; his sisters, Linda Brown (Billy) of Currituck and Doris Beacham of Williamston; and his granddaughters, Samantha and Megan Ayers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Paul Funeral Home & Crematory (900 John Small Ave, Washington, NC 27889). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Old Ford Church of Christ, 6040 US Hwy 17 N, Washington, NC 27889, or to a charity of your choice.
