He is survived by: his children, Johnnie Edward Martin IV (Susan) of Belvoir, NC, Bobbie Martin (Jennifer) of South Carolina and Barbie Martin of Faison, NC; and his sisters, Barbara Williams of Greenville, NC and Margie Hathaway of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three nephews.
