He is survived by: his wife Nila Jean Stevens; his daughters, Denise Wehrenberg León (Jose) and Dawn Wehrenberg Landen (Mike); his brothers, Sam Wehrenberg (Phyllis) and David Wehrenberg (Amy); and his grandchildren, Callie Barbieri (Chris), Kennedy Landen, John Carlos Leon, Ana Leon and Jose Leon, Jr.. He is also survived by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Eagle's Wings Food Pantry or Disabled Veterans of America, two organizations he felt strongly about.
