He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father John Thomas Ruff; his wife Delores Diane Cayton; his son Jonathan Bryan Ruff (Kelly); his grandchildren, Bryan Thomas Ruff of Washington, John Richard Ruff, Jr. of Memphis and Erica Dawn Jeanine Ruff of Memphis, TN; and his sisters, Becky, Sammie, Bonnie and Chris.
