He is survived by: his wife Donna Dae Topping; his son John "Lee" Cherry, Jr. of Washington; his grandchildren, Brandy Cherry Powell (Joshua) of Chocowinity, John Lee "Trae" Cherry III (Jessica) of Chocowinity and Loren Weslee Cherry of Washington; his great grandchildren, Anna Lee Powell and Scarlett Marie Cherry; his siblings, Viola Hamman of Washington, Bobby Cherry of Washington, Betty Sue Jensen of Washington and Donald Wayne Cherry of Pinetown; and his sister-in-law Ann Cherry of Washington.
