He is survived by: his wife Mary Howard Bowen; his daughters, Stacy Divine (Robert) of Chattanooga, TN, Mary Angel Blount (Dave Krech) of Morgantown, WV and Emily Mayne (Winfield) of Washington; his nephew Clayton Blount; his niece Dena Blount Gearhartt; and his sisters-in-law, Josephine Paul of Washington and Emily Brown Blount of Raleigh. He is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
