It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe S. Thurmon Jr. (Washington, North Carolina), born in Beaufort, North Carolina, who passed away on April 17, 2020, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his mother Peggy Edwards (Tommy) of Washington; his grandmother Kathleen Cox of Washington; his siblings, Jackie Woolard (Johnny) of Washington, Hope Manning of Winterville, Billy Thurmon (Lorie) of Washington and Marshall Thurmon of Washington; his nephews, David Brown of Plymouth and Joshua Clark of Washington; his niece Christie Brown of Washington; and his aunt Joyce Blackmon (Kirk) of Washington.
