He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia Anthony Ruffin; his brother Adrian Williams; and his grandparents, James Earl Ruffin, Ben and Mildred Anthony.
He is survived by: his children, Rashod Ja'Shon Ruffin, Christopher Ruffin, Janika Ruffin, Shahiem Ruffin, Jace Ruffin and Alice Deloach; his close friend Crystal Knight; his grandchildren, Ryan Ruffin, Kailee Ruffin, Lerenzo Ruffin, Journi Beacham Dunlap and Romeo Beacham Dunlap; his father Jimmy Lee Ruffin, Sr.; his brothers, Maurice Simmons (EuGenie), Melvin Simmons (Fabian) and Darren Anthony (Keisha); his grandmother Rosa Lee Norfleet (John Boy); and his great-aunt Mildred Gardner. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, a great nephew, a great niece, cousins, and close friends.
