He is survived by: his spouse Dorothy Ray Clark; his son Jerry "Mac" McCoy Whitley, Jr. (Melinda Jane) of Nashville, TN; his grandson Casey McCoy Whitley of Chicago, IL; and his sister Sylvia Whitley Lilley of Washington.
