She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Doyle De Bruhl; her husband Karl Simons of Washington, NC; her sons, Burt Simons (Melissa) of Washington, NC and Brad Simons (Tanya) of Greenville, NC; her grandchildren, Jack, Charlotte, Marina and Everett; her mother Vava De Bruhl of Houston, TX; her sisters, Reba De Bruhl, Tana Navarre (Bubba) and Greta Barsh (Kelly); her nephews, Buster Barsh (Carmen), Rusty Barsh (Felicia) and Donald Vest (Ashley); her niece Tabitha (Matt); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Grace, Chloe, Taylor, Maverick, Wyatt, Aiden, Brooklyn, Kolton, Remington and Ruger.
