He was predeceased by: his parent James T. Harris. He is survived by: his parent Dora Mae Jernigan Harris; his wife Joan Elizabeth Woolard Harris; his children, Tracy Harris Smith (Lloyd), James T. "Jamie" Harris III (Kim) and Jennifer Harris Jackson (William); his grandson Tyler Lloyd Smith; his great grandchild Kenley Lloyd Smith; his sisters, Brenda Harris Griffin (Ray) and Debbie Harris Modlin (Blount); and his brothers-in-law, Merton "Billy" Woolard, Jr. (Roxanne) and Tony Walker Woolard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
