He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilford C. Paul and Helena Parson Paul. He is survived by: his spouse Mary Anna O'Neal; his children, James C. Paul, Jr. (Susan) of Palmer, AK, Tina Lee Snapp (Mark) of Wanchese and John David Paul of Ocracoke; his brother Terry Lee Paul of Greenville; his grandchildren, Zachery, Samantha, Madeline, Jamie, Donavon, Sophia and Anabella; and his great grandchild Weston.
