It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacqueline Brooks Mullen (Washington, North Carolina), who passed away on June 22, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thorne Brooks and Pearl Brooks; her husband Edward John Mullen, Sr.; her siblings, Gerald, Earl, Jimmy, Dan, Calvin Brooks, Helen Thorne Boyd, Audrey Dare Schill, Betty Everett and Brenda Humphrey; and her son-in-law Eric Ottis Ritter.
She is survived by: her children, Edward John Mullen, Jr. (Christina) of Bath, NC, Regina Mullen Ritter of Robbins, NC and Candace Mullen Medlock (Kevin) of Chocowinity, NC; her siblings, Ted Brooks (Sandra) of South Mills, NC and Polly Gurganus (Louis) of Bath, NC; her grandchildren, Edward John Mullen, III, Dakota Shaine Mullen (Krista), Jacob Sean Mullen, Gabrielle Nichole Mullen, Krista Ritter Greenough (Tim), Marshall Kevin Medlock, Jr. (Cheyenne) and Madison Alexandria Medlock; and her great grandchildren, Jocelyn Sailor Mullen, Julia Renee Greenough, Jade Jacqueline Greenough, Jasmine Avery Greenough, River James Medlock and Evelyn Cora Medlock. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
