He is survived by: his parents, Robert Taylor Griffin, Jr. (Jennifer Hudson) of Washington and Amanda Benson Heck (Alex Heck) of Washington; his siblings, Sophie Heck and Gage Heck of Washington; his grandparents, Bennie Benson (Angie) of Greenville and Sandra Heck of Winterville; and his aunts and uncles, Bobbie Jo Taylor of Ellenboro, NC, Heather Benson (Cody Suggs) of Winterville, Clark Harrell of Charlotte and Bryan Harrell (Stephanie) of Kinston.
He is preceded in death by his grandmothers: Pattie Griffin and Jakie Jones and his paternal grandfather: Robert Taylor Griffin, Sr. The family requests that memorials be made to the Washington Athletic Club, c/o Fred Watkins, 306 Sunnyside Dr., Washington, NC 27889.
