He is survived by: his sons, Jack Midyette III (Tanya) of Wake Forest and Damron Midyette (Kristin Retzlaff); his grandchildren, Samantha, Gregory and Noah; and his stepgrandchildren, Tyler, Sarah and Hannah Retzlaff.
