He was predeceased by: his parents, Furnie Mayhew Hodges and Louise Bates Hodges; his brother Wayland F. "Doc" Hodges; and his son-in-law H. Keith Hodges. He is survived by: his wife Janice Hardy; his daughters, Tammy H. Hodges of Washington, Kimberly H. Losito of Chocowinity and Wanda H. Hickman of North Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Steven K. (Anna Frances Hodges), Brian C. (Lauren Hodges), Rebecca F. Hodges, James Hickman and Kaitlin Hickman (Ashley Hickman Hoffman); and his great grandchildren, Everson K. Hodges and Patrick James Hodges. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.
