It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gracie C. Cayton (Washington, North Carolina), who passed away on January 26, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernie Cayton and Nettie Daniels Cayton; and her siblings, John Cayton and LaRue Cayton. She is survived by: her husband Edwin Cayton; her children, Rosemary Williamson (Gene) of Aurora and David Cayton (Marsha) of Smithfield; her grandchildren, Holli Williamson and Lee Williamson; and her siblings, Janise Edwards and Georgia Williams.
